There is a story with this. I went to the Bahamas in 1983 to fly navigator in the Bermuda Triangle. Not having much money, I bought 2 knives at KMart. This one and a slightly smaller one of the same model. I carried & used the smaller one and it served me well. I still have it. This one, the Mod 300 was never used. It is in the original box w/ the original unused leather belt pouch. It has been stored since 1983. This is 5" closed w/ a 4 1/4" stainless blade. The frame is all stainless with Ebony inlays. Made in Japan long before China was thought of.

	Item #1650 Tyron Edward K. Tryon-Philadelphia. This set was mfg by either Utica or Marbles. The hatchet is 10 1/2" and solid. The knife is 8" w/ a 4 1/4" blade. Blade seems to be the correct length but I can't tell how much wear. Both have mushroom pommels. Scabbard is excellent. $139.95

	Item #1767 WESTERN W49 Bowie w/ Stag grips and gold etched blade 1836-1986. This is 1 of 1500. It's not for sale.
	Western Cutlery moved from Boulder, CO. to Longmont, CO. in 1978. They became Coleman-Western in 1984. In 1970, 3 models, 701, 702, & 703 called Westmark, were produced in their custom shop. A special high carbon rust resistant American Tool Steel was used for these blades. Hardwood laminated blocks impregnated w/ resin were used for the grips and are virtually impervious to weather and wear. Each sheath was molded and heavy stitched from triple thickness premium steerhide. Each knife has it's own serial number. I have determined the above dates from available data. If someone has factual data differing from this, I will be happy to correct the dates. These knives are currently selling for $75-200 depending on condition, box, paperwork, etc. These are not for sale.
